I am a 40 yr old at-home mom and Army wife, for 15 yrs, and Psychology student. I have been struggling with my weight since my mid-20's, but it has been in the last 6 years that I lost control. In the last 6 yrs I have gained over 50 lbs, causing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and fatty-liver disease. I have started feeling more energy than I have in years, my cravings are getting less and less, and I even don't hate working out. I know I CAN DO IT! and I WILL!!

I was born in Puerto Rico, but mostly raised in Hialeah, FL. My father is Cuban and my mother American. I have 2 older brothers and 2 little half-sisters, ages 3 and 9. I love to draw and paint.
