The Path Forward

A gardener, philosopher, writer, reader, dreamer, animal and pet lover, friend, optimist, philanthropist, do-gooder, designer, artist, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I am determined to move toward continued good health and the energy to enjoy it with a few less pounds.

I have spinal compression from the accident that minorly limits me. I have trick knees and foot problems - but I stay as active as I can.

I love to garden and that gives me plenty to do at this time of year. I ride my bike, try to walk 10,000 steps a day and love cardio dancing and short (10 minutes or so) workout videos. I try to read one book every week or so. I'm a good cook and am having fun creating new recipes for the Fast Metabolism diet phases.

In Irish Gaelic "Thank you very much," is written "Go raibh míle maith agat" and is pronounced gurrah meel-ah mah hahgut. I am told the actual translation is: "May you have a thousand kindnesses."
So, I wish you Go raibh míle maith agat!!

My Goals:
Intention is to remove the excess and unwanted pounds that slowly crept in after I hit age 40 by doing it wisely and properly, so they stay gone!

My Program:
Fall 5% Challenge TEDDY BEAR
Exercise Commitment
*Strength Training Mon/Wed/Fri 20 minutes
*Cardio dancing Mon-Fri 15 to 20 minutes daily
*Walking and yardwork and housework on weekends
* At least one ten (10) minute exercise video per day

Eat per Fast Metabolism Diet, get exercise, TRACK food honestly and consistently and drink plenty of water that IS NOT in bottles that pollute the earth.

Thanks sweet friend for your stop by on my blog! Yep if it isn't the banks...it's the HOA! Totally self inflicted on that one! emoticon So my BAD!

Who knew that protesting your point through the withholding of dues could get your house whisked out from under you? I should surely have done some research on THAT one before attempting to make such a stupid statement!

Live and learn and PAY through the nose in the process right?

Hope things are warming up for you! I managed to lose 6 lbs in the challenge this time. Unfortunately its the same 6 lbs I keep losing and gaining from challenge to challenge!

I'll have to sit out the winter challenge this time...and perhaps the spring one also unless things calm down a little. It's insanely busy this years...MUCH more so than last season...BUT...it's all good if I can maintain the stamina to get through it! emoticon
