~getting fit and discovering a new way of life~

My family was never very active, I didn't like playing competitive sports, and I thought I'd never be an "athletic" person. Learning and practicing yoga in my 20s opened up a whole new world to me! I discovered what it felt like to be comfortable in my own skin and to train my body in new ways. The mental aspect of yoga has been incredible as well. It's on the yoga mat that I figured out that slow, steady, and with integrity "wins the race!

I love fresh fruits and vegetables and I'm picky about the quality of my food in general. I'm working on establishing solid healthy lifestyle habits.

I love hearing about other people's stories and get a lot from browsing the Motivator of the Day pages and Motivation message boards. Feel free to add me as a friend!! Let's help one another be the graceful and fit human beings we were all meant to be.

My Program:
Strength training 3x/week

High intensity interval traing 2x/week

One day of something fun and active (yoga, walk, hooping, swimming, etc.)

One day off/week!
