Hi, in April 2007, I was one week shy of my wedding day and I was 135 pounds. two days after we got back from our honeymoon, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. had my thyroid removed in May 2007 and one round of radioactive iodine treatment in July 2007. Hi, in April 2007, I was one week shy of my wedding day and I was 135 pounds. two days after we got back from our honeymoon, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. had my thyroid removed in May 2007 and one round of radioactive iodine treatment in July 2007. After 7 months of trying to get the sythroid dosage right, it's finally regulated. So needless to say, in my first year of marriage I managed to gain 10 pounds and suffered a miscarriage. In March of this year, I decided that after years of suffering from Uterine Fibrioids which returned after a surgery in 2003 to have them removed, I decided that it was time to have a hysterectomy. I again had surgery on May 18th. I'm an emotional eater. I am having a super hard time getting motivated. I think some depression is there too. It's time to get in shape in 2010. I'm still struggling to just hit that 135 pound mark. That will be a great day in my life. My new challenge this year is to run my first ever 5k. I'm really not a runner, but I see so many people running half and full marathons and I don't even know how to try. So know I'm going to try it.

My Goals:
I have decided not to write down my weight loss goals...it just doesn't work for me. But I will say that I would like to be down to 125 by April 10, 2010...which is the day we leave for our Panama Canal cruise.
My Program:
trying to eat healthy, exercise more and drink more water strength training 3x a week cardio - a mix of the treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, and walking out side when weather permits 5 to 6 days a week
