Getting back to me!
I am excited to start my journey of weight loss and getting healthy, finally - after thinking about it for quite some time now. I have been battling an illness the last 7 years and have gained a lot of weight from the medicine and inactivity. I did lose all of the weight a few years ago but had to go back on steroids and am now heavy again. I also have bad hips that will eventually requre surgery, so that limits what I can do and creates a lot of pain no matter what I do. The depression over ...
I am excited to start my journey of weight loss and getting healthy, finally - after thinking about it for quite some time now. I have been battling an illness the last 7 years and have gained a lot of weight from the medicine and inactivity. I did lose all of the weight a few years ago but had to go back on steroids and am now heavy again. I also have bad hips that will eventually requre surgery, so that limits what I can do and creates a lot of pain no matter what I do. The depression over getting sick and losing much of the life that I worked so hard for, is still an obstacle I'm learning to deal with. That also kept me from wanting to try more. I'm finally motivated enough to stick with it. So... thanks SparkPeople for your support, ideas and encouragement.

My Goals:
Lose 45 pounds, eat healthier, create an exercise habit to stick with and get stronger muscles and cardio. Learn to work around hip issues and pains.
My Program:
-Pacing Myself as needed -Walking -Climbing Gym -Dancing at home -body weight bearing excercises. -Eating more fresh, whole foods and less processed -tracking diet to see what I'm really doing & then making changes.
