Sick n tired57 is now GPS set

I've changed my "handle" because as one of my Spark sisters set - the name no longer applies. I have set a direction and I'm heading straight on course. There will be some "tacking" however the course is still deliberate. So sickntired is no longer, I'm GPSset and moving right along:)

I would love to see that garden, can you post some pics? Mine is trudging along. Got hit by hail but is recovering. Never did get any lettuce or spinach to come up and now it's too late to try more. What kinds of things are you growing?

Thanks for the comment on my running through the airport blog. It was so NOT fun at the time and there really was a crazy psychedelic tunnel.
On your running. I know what you mean- some days it is more walking than running. Yesterday was really hot here, I thought it was 80 but now think it was hotter than that but I was running and did not have water with me and got about a mile away from my car (and water) and realized I was dizzy and dehydrated. I had to stop in the shade for a bit. Next time, I go earlier or later in the day and make sure I drink a lot of water BEFORE going and keep water handy. Cuz that sucked. And being from Arizona, I should know better.
You mention running again today, you don't take a day off between runs? The 5K program is very stern about not running everyday because of the stress that puts on your body. Just mentioning this because I'd hate to see my Sue start to hurt from it. Running is awesome! I am getting together with some other Sparkers up here in June for a 5K, finally, we keep missing each other. Will be nice to meet some in person! (If you are ever out this way....)

Hello Sue! Sounds like you are running all around up there. I've been running about twice a week but don't seem to really be getting all that much better at it. But, whatever! I can run more than walk and it burns a lot of calories, so I am happy. What else are you up to? I did get irises!
