Back At It!

I am a lucky teacher and new wife who enjoys ice-cream and long bike rides!

I was diagnosed with Lupus. I am more aware of my body and how nutrition, cardio and strength training effect my daily life.

I've found it's hard to get yourself going after a long day or when the couch is just oh so comfy, but staying in motion makes you feel WAY better!

Not let medicine or lack of energy get in my way! I let it take over and gained 20 pounds in six months.

I graduated Spring of 2011 from TX State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (ESL EC-6) and a Minor in Art & Design.

I am a second grade ELA teacher and couldn't of asked for a better career!

Oh! The blueberry syrup I mentioned in my blog... it's just frozen unsweetened blueberries and a little orange juice (or any fruit juice, or lemon juice and a bit of sugar if you don't drink juice or have it on hand). Boil it like crazy while you're making your healthy waffles or pancakes and then use the leftovers on plain greek yogurt. Deeeee-lish! emoticon
