I want to lose a lot of weight and get healthy. I sit at a desk all day at work and my favorite hobbies are scrapbooking and genealogy. As you can see, I'm not required to move very much plus I hate to exercise. I'm hoping Spark People will give me motivation to get out of my chair and move!

Good luck trying to find easy ways to fit exercise into your day! It is a real challenge for us desk pilots. One thing I've started doing, and it really makes me feel like I'm making a positive change: every time I go to the restroom, I walk up and down the stairs. It isn't much, but it is something and I do raise my heart rate and make the muscles in my legs burn. If you combine this habit with drinking more water.... well, it's pretty obvious what will happen! Have a great day!

Hello! I know things can be REALLY tough when you do not enjoy exercising. BUT... keep trying new things until you find some exercise that doesn't FEEL like exercise. You can do it!
