Counting calories and making sure they are all GOOD calories.... no junk food! And, exercising my butt off at the gym!
I am 53 years old... mom of two grown daughters and I have three grandkids. Hubby and I have been married for 10 years and we live in Virginia. I have been overweight for FAR TOO long!

Hi Jodie - Glad you stopped by my page and added me as a friend. My mantra these days is slow and steady. I've lost about 15 pounds so far this year. I would love to lose more but instead am focused on maintaining that loss. I've found its not the losing weight that is the hardest, but instead it is keeping off what I lose. If it takes me 5 years to lose the hundred or so pounds I need to get off then so be it. Just so long as I don't put back on what I take off. I think that learning different behaviors is key for me and that is going to take some time. Good luck to you and your biggest loser challenge!
