Stand up and finish what you started!!

Yep!! that would be me.. I was the one that would give up and forget about it. I have been juggling my weight for many years and know I need to change the habits. I moved from overseas back to the states and in the process I gained 30 pounds. I need to lose it and I have diabetes and need to get that under control. I need to do this!

When I was younger I wasn't big, but then again I wasn't skinny either. Got pregnant in 92' and you can say that is when it all began. yo yoing up ...

I have a beautiful family that I want to stay healthy for and hopefully teach them to also be that way.

My Goals:
My goal is to eat healthy and exercise on a regular basis.

I ran/walk my first 5k on October 24, 2009 with a time of 56:29. Hope to do more at a later time.

Ran/walk second 5k on April 13,2013 with a time if 53:31.

Third 5k will be April 12, 2014.

My Program:
The plan is to slowly bring in excercising. With running, weights, and cardio. I am slowly cutting back on things, making healthier choices. cutting out the pop(soda to the rest of you).I know this will take time, but I think I'm worth it:)

Personal Information:
I am orginally from Ohio but I am currently living in Georgia, due to the military..Going to school to get that thing called a better job. Hopefully as a school counselor or behavioral therapist.

Other Information:
I am an avid reader and enjoy reading v.c. andrews and stephen king.
