SWEET!!! My goal is to BQ before I turn 50 - which gives me until Feb 1, 2015. Ran my first marathon March 20, 2011 with a time of 4:55:51 so I need to take 61 minutes off (sigh...) just to squeek by. Going for my 2nd marathon on Oct 9 and we shall see if I can reduce that spread a bit! I would love to follow you in your training cycle to Boston!
So, did I read that you had your4 VO2 tested? I had that done several years ago on a treadmill, which during the whole procedure I was on the brink of falling off the end of the treadmill, or so I was told. hehe Anyway, I came through with flying colors as I imagine you did. I found out my High zone is 150-170, so I go into my anaeroic thresshold over 150. I'm in superior fitness levels, and I made it to level 14 on the test. The mask and hoses were a tad scary. I don't usually wear a heart monitor but when I do I'm usually all over my peak zone. So, I'm not sure I learned a whole lot through the test. Luck for me it was free. 1967 days ago
How long are you going to be in Disney? It must be nice, though. Me, I'm not even motivated to do anything racing-related, not even a half! Something's come over me.
