Trying to be a Loser

It's not to often you hear someone say that they want to be a loser...well I do! I'm hoping to lose BIG! My sister is getting married in just under a year and my goal is to drop 40 lbs and to tone along the way. However, I'm not sticking to the weight loss goal becuase if I can still lose the stomach and tone the muscles along the way I'll be just as happy. After all - Muscle weighs more than fat and muscle helps to burn the fat! SO - therefore I guess my main goal is to gain muscle, lose ...

My Goals:
My weight goal is to lose 35-50 lbs however the number isn't to important in my eyes - it's all about the overall image. I want to tone my muscles, lose the stomach and cut back on the weight.

My Program:

Stretch at home daily

15 minute ab workout (at home or at the gym)

Water and Fruit daily

Personal Information:
I am 27 years old and living in beautiful Vancouver! It's time I start to take advantage all this city and its surroundings have to offer. This means getting into better physical shape so next summer I can hike, swim, bike etc.

Hey, I was actually dieting for a few weeks and gained 7 pounds! I went to a nutritionist, and she said I was doing it all wrong. Now, she has me eating four times a day, and always incorportaing protein in every meal. At first my weight didn't change, but in the last week I have lost three pounds! I am feeling better, even though I am more than I was when I started on here, at least I feel like I have found something that might work. I also just started excerising 2-3 times a week. I am starting to love that too! Steps class kicks butt, but also the calories!
Don't worry if you had a few tough weeks, just get back on that horse. Live for today. :)

Hey! How is it going? Yes, I reached my first mini-goal a few weeks ago, but since then, i have been hovering above it! I hope my weigh-in tomorrow is BELOW the 190.0 lb mark... It gives me motivation to keep going! It looks like you are doing well so far, too. :) And you have a great goal for lent! You can definitely do it. And you'll notice a difference in your food costs. Don't forget the dairy. :)

Have a good one, and thank you for checking in!
