I am a food addict. Food has been my drug of choice for as long as I can remember. I was 5'3" and 110lbs at 8yrs. old. I never got any taller but I sure got heavier. I was always the funny fat girl that would sacrifice myself to make friends. I graduated high school at 230lbs. I was always a hard worker. I worked 2 jobs while going to college. I'm no different then most obese people. I tried every diet there was only to gain what I lost plus a few extra lbs. for good measure. I got married at 23 and had my son at 24 and was divorced at 25. At that point I gave up on trying to loose weight. I was a tired working single mom that weighed 300lbs. By 28 my health was heading down hill fast. My back, knees and feet hurt constantly from carrying all that weight. I had no energy. I had constant open sores in the folds of my fat rolls around my abdomen and behind my knees. I had gastric bypass (RNY) july 2004. That procedure saved my life!! I lost 160lbs. to my all time lowest of 141lbs. in a year. Since then I have had a few complications due to the bypass (adhesions, hernia, stoma blockage), but I still am very greatful I had the procedure. January 2009 I was up to my all time high since surgery of 199lbs. The gastric bypass helps control my physical hunger, but it can't control my head hunger. Food is a part of most of my thoughts and actions. I hide it well... LOL.. I've had at least 30yrs. practice. It is December 2009 and I am down to 166lbs. I'm not as active as I would like to be and I'm trying to fight the winter "blahs". I got remarried to my soul mate in May 2008. He had gastric bypass (dueodenal switch) 3 weeks ago. I want to support him and take care of myself. My wish is for us to become a healthy and active family.

1st month- pedicure (Jan. completed!)
2nd month- new running shoes (Feb. completed)
3rd month- new running clothes
4th month- sign up for any class I want

My Goals:
My goal is to weigh 140lbs. which would give me a "normal" bmi. I want to be active- walk, run, bike ride. I want the feeling of being FIT!

My Program:
EXERCISE: run 3/week, 2 days cross train and strength

DIET: eat as clean as possible, 5-6 meals/day, 1400-1800cal


Loose 3 lbs./mon

JAN. 2010- lost 5lbs. & completed 4 weeks of c25k

Feb. 2010-lost 3lbs. & completed 8 weeks of c25k

Mar. 12, 2010- completed c25k program!!

Mar. 25, 2010- reached monthly goal weight 153

Personal Information:
I am 37yrs. old. I am a wife, a mother of a 13yr. old boy and a x-ray tech by trade. I have 3 furry babies. A English Mastiff, a deaf Great Dane and a mix breed. My husband and I would love to have another child if God has that in his plans.
