Focused on Being Healthy

Been maintaining my weight loss since 2007. Maintaining has proven just as difficult as losing the weight, maybe more so, but I'm not falling for the easy, short-term reward of eating whatever I want.

I sure do Harvey, with James Stewart. Loved this so funny, the invisible rabbit. When Christmas comes I always send the family to a movie and I watch, It's a Wonderful Life. Like to watch it by myself, I cry, I laugh, it makes me happy.
You have a good time getting out tomorrow. emoticon

Hope you are doing well. You know I never did do well with a negative attitude! Everyday I try to find one thing that makes me smile. Like Gene Kelly in the movie Singing in the Rain. Do you know that movie? emoticon

Congrats on maintaining your loss and kudos for being willing to face down your attachment to food. Enough is enough! And proud to be friends.

Hi, Thank you for being happy for me, I always do much better when the weather is cold, has something to do with my arthritis. I never want to regain that weight ever again, for one thing I don't need it on my joints and I don't want to take blood pressure medicine.
It is 60 here right now, one night it went down to 33, froze some of my plants. emoticon
I remember going on vacation to Brookings Oregon 1 year and it was gloomy all week, it started to bother me, so I kinda get an idea of how you might be feeling. Does it stay gloomy long? emoticon

I will be doing all the cooking 7 of us sometimes more, hope the turkey is done on time. Yes Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve are the days I splurge. that is why it was important for me to get rid of this excess weight, never want to go back to the way I was. I did lose it, how about you?
Funny thing when I eat these dinners I never gain, last year I lost weight.
Hope your back is better, Talk more soon, Jackie. emoticon emoticon emoticon
