I'm 24 years old and live in Virginia. I've struggled with weight issues throughout high school and college and am finally ready to make a committment to change. I want to live a healthy and active lifestyle. My biggest motivation is my future family... I don't want my children to struggle with the same weight issues as I. I hope to become a positive rolemodel in healthy living!
I fell like I've missed out on so much in life because of my weight. It's prevented me from living in the moment and enjoying life to its fulllest. Instead of jumping into something new, I sit back and watch because I worry I'm not "thin" enough. I want to change this way of thinking and stop obessing about pounds, dress sizes, and what other people think of me. Instead, I want to focus on becoming healthy and happy, no matter what size I wear or the number on the scale. I'm ready to become an active person who can keep up with whatever life throws my way!
1. Work out regularly
2. Run a 5k in 2010
3. Do something active every day
4. Develop stronger friendships
5. Find something positive in every day
6. Laugh more :)
7. Improve my self-esteem
8. Eat more fruits and veggies and less processed junk!
9. Develop a "green" thumb - no more dead gardens!!

I love to scrapbook and paint, although I haven't had time to do much of either lately. I also enjoy reading and music.
