My goal has recently changed. Previously it was to lose weight and I still want to do that, however, now I feel so much better after changing to healthy foods I want to continue feeling better and if I lose weight that's great! I am learning so much from the articles about good nutrition. Perhaps it is because I have the time now to read these articles when in prior years I was busy working and raising a family. I didn't make the time nor take the time to be healthier.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose weight to feel better and look better and to please my doctor who suggested this web site.

My Program:
I am tracking my food each day, my water intake and exercise. Lower the food intake, up the exercise and don't look back, only forward.

Personal Information:
I am from a very small town in NC. My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary July 1st, 2011. We have two children, a son and a daughter. Both are married and our son has two sons who we love dearly. I believe in God's grace through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and enjoy Christian friends who walk in the light.

Other Information:
I love to play golf, visit the "Y", read books, play games on computer, play Canasta and cards with girl friends, get together with family on outings and vacations.

The knee replacement was done with a spinal. I totally recommend this rather than being put under. I started PT immediately in the hospital and 3 days after being released I went to my current PT. She was the one that pushed my leg past where I was comfortable and all the scar tissue broke down the whole length of my leg! Painful, yes, but the range of motion was soooooo much better. Keep doing the exercises they recommend (at home). I also am trying to pedal the recumbent bike, I can't get all the way around yet, but progress is being made! I hope your surgery and recovery go well. It is hard to not get impatient!!
