The Chubby Engine that Could

I have been obese since the birth of my first child in early 2006, and I have yo-yo-ed ever since. I lose 50 I put it back on ... over and over. I find a momentary spark but then I get tired, stressed, depressed, and fall back into old bad habits. I keep hoping this is the time that I can do it but keep the momentum going and the weight OFF!

My Goals:

My Program:
Trying to re-spark. I *want* (trying to get myself) to:
-meditate daily
-use our stationary bike 5x per week
-walk one of our dogs daily

Personal Information:
I gained the weight when my first came home from his long stay in the hospital after his birth. I keep blaming my weight gain on stress but when will there be a time that I *don't* feel stress? Will there ever be a right time? In the mean time I stay heavy and run the possibility of serious health risks...

Other Information:
Beer is the mind killer. Beer is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my beer. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see it's path. When the beer has gone there will be nothing only I will remain.

Just stopping by to say hi and see how everything is going for you. The last two weeks have been good for me as far as nutrition and exercise. Didn't lose anything last week, but lost two this week. I guess my body is just liking the one pound a week loss and I am not going to insist on more....Have a good week and keep sparking that's what keeps us connected. emoticon
