I am working up from being a couch potato to walking a total of 12,000 steps a day.



My Program:
I recently purchased a FitBit pedometer. I have worked up from about 2000 steps a day and now my daily goal is a minimum of 6000 steps.

I am increasing my daily normal activity so I can build it into a healthy habit.

Hi! emoticon back! And emoticon on making the decision to get serious about a healthy life style! I really agree with you that you can't do it alone. I find that my wonderful SP friends are my biggest motivation and support!

I visited your page, and I see that you've joined a few teams - posting on the message boards of those teams is a great way to meet people and make friends.

Two of the most important things to do to be sure to lose those pounds are to track all of your food every day, and to commit to exercise every day asnd track it - even it it's only 15 or 20 minutes a day. You can exercise right at home if you prefer (I do). There are lots of exercises and videos on this site. It's best to combine cardio and strength training for best results.
