A couple of weeks ago - 35 lbs. lost so far!
Mike & I have lost more than 75 lbs. combined. We feel awesome!
This was us in May of 2006. We have come a LONG way!

A family tragedy taught me a lot about myself.
1. No more derailments! In the past, I allowed small things to stop me completely.
2. These days, I plan ahead for change.
3. I'll keep only the changes I can live with.
1. Sleep well.
2. Drink water constantly.
3. Exercise 1 hr/day.
4. Choose great foods.
5. Allow myself to enjoy the things I love.
I'm from PA, but have lived all over! Currently living in Alaska, moving to California soon...
Learning new habits (portions, tastes, textures, movements, and timing) requires intense focus at first, but life WILL knock you for a loop! Major life changes (like a new baby, a new job, moving, etc.) requires mental energy also, and when I got tired of trying to keep up, I gave up. Now, I plan ahead by making my new healthy habits second nature, and I don't start anything I am not willing to live with.
