My journey to health, fitness and happiness ...

(February 1st 2014) : I've been on this journey since August 2012 and so far I was able to lose more than half my goal, which I find amazing.
But I still have a long way to go and this journey is still fill with ups and downs.
My weight fluctuates and so does my motivation sometime. But I keep pushing, keep getting back to my healthy habits and I'm confident that I'll reach this goal of mine one day for sure.

Until then I'm aiming to live a healthier life and feeling ...

My Goals:

For the next 5 weeks for the Frightfully Fiendish BL challenge in my team 300 + my goals are :

-- Exercise at least 3 times each week for a minimum of 30 minutes

-- Finish the challenge, check-in, post and share with the others to stay accountable

My Program:

-- Follow the portions as "prescribed" for my diabetes, so the nutritionist plan

-- Exercises at least 15 minutes 4 times each week

Personal Information:

-- 34 years old

-- Been in a relationship for the past 13 years
-- Love my family and really close to my brother. He's my best friend, my confident and a huge and important part in my life.
-- Dog owner and animals lover. We own a little dog called Willow. She's 6 years old and a mix between a Papillon and a Pomeranian.
-- I believe in God, but I don't go to Church and I don't belong to any either (nothing in my area that really speaks to me)


Other Information:

-- I enjoy everything that's crafting or close to and that implies creating things.
-- I like video games currently playing LOTRO and Marvel Heroes 2015
-- I like reading, watching TV series but I'm almost always 2-3 seasons behind, I like movies, music, etc ...

Thanks for complementing my hair! I love it so far. I'm kind of hoping I've found my hairstyle. Although I do need to go out and get some styling product. I'll probably worry about that after vacation, since I won't be bothered to do it then, anyway.

Good luck with the Summer Challenge. I too have been at a stand still for the past 6 months.. yes that is right 6.. I keep going up 2 or 3 down 1.. I am doing the same thing I have always done since the beginning of my journey, the weight is not coming off any more no matter what I do.. I increase my protein, I increased my cals, I upped my work outs. I have switched them all around.. I ride my bike 15 to20 miles 3x a week, I strength train 3x a week, I mean the list goes on.. my doctor told me it is menopause which I have entered into.. but.. I refuse to give in or give up.. So with this challenge let's fight and give it the kick that it deserves..
