Hi! My name is Sandie and I'm from Springfield Missouri and live with my cat Lucy. Lucy and I have identical personalities. She is the Kitty version of me and I'm the human version of her. So we compliment each other quite well and are the best of friends.

Here is some things about me:

I'm a Christian. I'm not affiliated with any denomination. I'm a member of God's family and Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life.

I'm 5'7" tall

I'm an only child. My parents live close by and have been married 48 years.

My weight loss program is to get regular and consistent exercise and watch my intake of calories. I incorporate light weights into my workouts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the form of interval training. (working smarter instead of harder.)

I am a student of the Lord's Table a FREE 60 day biblical study course with an emphasis on weight loss and a personal mentor who has already been thru the course to help you get thru it. Praise God for this wonderful course and I believe it was my heavenly father who led me to it and I am committed to sharing it with everyone. As of day 22 of the Lord's Table I was down 10.8 lbs. praise God!

In home walking by Leslie Sansone (www.walkathome.com) I'm also a big fan of her 3 minute mini workout on youtube. I get several of those in a day! If you can get 5 of them in during a day you have an extra mile of walking in!

The cardio Twister is AWESOME! www.cardiotwister.com I'm not much for exercise equipment in the form of bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, etc. for myself personally as I find them too mundane. But the cardio twister along with the accompanying dvd workout totally rocks! My abs never got such a workout!

I don't follow any particular diet. I need to do this in a way I can stick to for life and if I swear off sweets, chips, chocolate, or whatever for life....well lets be real....it aint gonna happen. I watch my calories and try to average 1500 a day. Right now I'm cycling my calories trying to keep my body guessing. I haven't exactly told my body yet that it is on a weight loss program lest it rebel. I eat 1300 calories one day and 1700 the next and keep alternating back and forth which still averages 1500 calories a day when all is said and done at the end of the week. I'm still able to budget in McDonalds, or chocolate, or cake or whatever else I may want which is teaching me moderation.

To develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to learn to put off the old man and put on the new. To let go of SELF control and WILL (my will) Power and rely on GOD'S power and GOD'S will.

My Program:
To turn away AND repent of the sin of Gluttony. With the help of my heavenly father I will eat when I am hungry instead of when I'm bored, angry, depressed, happy, etc.

I will have temperance in all things especially eating.

I will exercise my body as it is the temple of the Lord and should be cared for and honored.

I will feast on God's word daily.
