Hi Spark People community. I'm new to this site and I look forward to all those I will get to know in the future. I like so many other's are tired of the yo-yo dieting only to gain it all back and then some. I NOW realize that I have to change the way I view food(fuel) so that I can live a healthier lifestyle while losing weight in the process. I do not want to try another diet but, instead, I will incorporate better eating habits and a regular exercise routine as way of life for myself. This year is my year and I know with the great support I will get from all of you, I will have no choice but to succeed because failure is not an option.

You are so thoughtful. I'm fine, just super busy with a house remodel and lots of holiday preparation. I like to make a few silly games and buy prizes, too. So planning, shopping and wrapping has been keeping me occupied. I've also been to various hardware stores buying things for my home remodel. Then came shopping for office furniture. I've been saving up for almost 20 years to do this remodel and update, and wow was it ever needed. But, I'm so over having carpenters and painters in my house. This project started in August, and I can't believe how long it is taking. I'm hoping one more day will do it, but haven't heard when that day will be! The office furniture is coming Tuesday, so I'll be able to put things in order then. I donated my old furniture a few weeks ago, and will need the card table I'm using now for Christmas. Oh, that's the other thing. It's my turn to host Christmas for our family, so I've been planning for that, too. I've got to finish decorations around the house, decorate my tree and get my cards written and mailed. Life is full! I'm hoping to get back to sparking in January! Hope you and your family are doing well. Happy Christmas season!
Living Life - "Life is not a race - but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say "thank you", "I love you", and "great job" to someone each day. Go to church, take time for prayer. The lord giveth and the Lord taketh. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental - search for your purpose and do it as best you can. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to be. Laugh often. appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming. Forgive, it frees the soul. Take time for yourself - plan for longevity. Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know. Live for today, enjoy the moment." Bonnie Mohr
When logging your nutrition, there is a tab that you can check off that says, "tracker options." It's at the bottom of the page just underneath "snack totals." There is a dropdown and it gives you the option to check off that you want to "show meal plans." This is what I use, and I absolutely love it. It also lets you print it off and if you want, you can even print off a grocery list. It's pretty awesome, and the food is wonderful! Hope this is helpful to you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
