I am 41 years old, married with two young children. I really want to get the extra weight off before it takes permanent residence. I need to do this to get my self esteem back, even though my husband says I look great every day and always tells me I am the most beautiful woman in a room. (keeping him!) I have tried every diet and many over the counter pills. I am going to try to lose weight this year by exercising and eating right. However, my big problem is that I LOVE food and Wine! ...

Hi Wendy. I found you when I searched my area for other members. I live in Ukiah so as you know there are hardly any other Sparks. I read your comment about water and I had a suggestion. I realllllly dislike drinking water too so I started making pitchers of Clear Light. You buy it in the coolaide/tea section of the store. It's zero sugar, zero trans fat, and has a realllly good flavor. I think it's only 5 calories per serving too. Well thought that may help.

Hey Wendy, I like what you said in your intro. You want to get the weight off before it takes permanent residence....LOL!! That was too funny. Thank you for the comment on my blog. Yes I did say I really didn't want to go pass 155, but I don't look like I did when I lost before, maybe because I've lost it healthy this time...LOL!! I had no muscle tone, I looked like death walking...LOL!! I was just straight up and down. This time I've done it the right way and I love the way I look and feel. I am very satisfied where I am though and now I plan on just toning. People continue to tell me that I look like I'm losing but I'm not, I guess when you tone up, you're building muscle and trimming at the same time so maybe that's why but I'm still holding down 150! I'm so glad that you joined the team. How's the jump roping going for ya? Keep in touch with me, Here's to losing weight in 2008!!

Had my weigh in and before photos taken this afternoon. Attended a two hour nutrition class, uggh! I came home and had the small dinner, as recommended. I am STARVING!! How much more water can I drink? It is certainly not making me feel full! I am meeting some of the team members for a 6am workout tomorrow. Seems like a good start (except for the hunger!)
