I am a 40 year old married mom of four beautiful children. I have a wonderful and supportive husband who supported me going back to school in September 2009. I graduated summa cum laude August 2010. I graduated summa cum laude with my bachelors in March 2012.

Had Gastric Bypass RNY on October 3, 2011. It was rough going for the first three months but I am on the upswing now. Although some see the surgery as the easy way, I am using it as any other weight loss tool to get healthy for my four children. Everyday I am getting stronger and more fit and isn't that the ultimate goal that we are all working towards?!
