Maximum Health
I have spent the last several years taking care of everyone else, and now my own health needs work. It's time for me to get back to good health physically, spiritually, emotionally, and financially. I'm counting on SparkPeople to help keep me motivated and encouraged to accomplish my goals. My eating habits are not too bad, but I have trouble staying motivated to exercise. I want to learn to enjoy it!

My Goals:
Overall better health, to include weight loss, muscle toning, and more energy. (I have a lot of grandkids to keep up with!)
My Program:
I am working on healthier eating and moving more. Doing this as a new, permanent lifestyle, not just a diet.
Personal Information:
I am a 47-year-old mother of 4 and grandma of 7 (#8 due in August!). My son is currently in Afghanistan (his 4th tour to the mid-east) with the Marine Corps. Our daughter and 7-month-old grandson are living with us for a few months till she leaves for Army Basic training this fall.
Other Information:
I enjoy reading inspirational Christian books and magazines, photography, scrapbooking, and flower gardening.
