Here we go again...

I really want to get down to 135 or so ( I'll take 140 though). AND STAY IN THAT RANGE THIS TIME!

UPDATE:

Didn't meet any of my last goal. My BP meds stopped working last August and med roller coaster started again. It took almost a year to find a combination that works reasonably well with out making me so fatigued I can't do anything. In the intervening time I also had to deal with weight again. Good news is ...

UPDATE:

Didn't meet any of my last goal. My BP meds stopped working last August and med roller coaster started again. It took almost a year to find a combination that works reasonably well with out making me so fatigued I can't do anything. In the intervening time I also had to deal with weight again. Good news is I am back down to 155 again so maybe I will meet some of my previous goals this year.

It sucks that my BP can't be fixed by diet and exercise. ( My husband loses a few pounds and his BP goes down, not fair at all.) All of the assorted usual suspects aren't the cause. As the doctor said to me "You have high BP because you have it, all of the other numbers are fine. You exercise. You watch your sodium. Losing weight may help but it may not."

148 puts me in the normal range for BMI. My current weight goal will be 145 since that gives me a little wiggle room and it would be losing 10% of my body weight when I started again at the beginning of August 2012. Let's see if that helps.

My Goals:
Be 135-140 Lbs.

Be kinder to myself.

Current Goal: 148 Lbs by 1/30/13.

My Program:
Run 3 to 4 times a week. Walk every day. Kettlebell workouts 3 to 4 times a week. Yoga 2 times a week.



Personal Information:
I stopped believing in "religion" a long time ago. Some truly horrific things have been done in the name of religion. I have no problem with god(s) and belief in them, it's the fan clubs that worry me.

I respect other individuals beliefs. There are many people who strive to live up to the ideals in their belief and that is good. If those beliefs are the compass that guides them, gives them comfort in pain, light darknesses of life, strength during weakness, guides them and helps them be kind and generous to others, I respect that. I accept the warmth, kindness and generosity that is intended by that persons blessing and am thankful that they think that much of me to share what is at their heart and I am deeply honored.

We are all part of the same universe, made up of molecules that have been here since the beginning and will eventually become parts of things that will come after. We are all parts of the same whole.

Other Information:
Exercise is like paying taxes. You don't have to like it, you have to do it. . . and there are penalties if you don't do it.

Purple cauliflower tastes completely the same as normal cauliflower, it just looks like more fun. :)
