Finally doing it!
I'm tired of being fat. And I'm finally ready to do something about it!! Here is where my journey begins... I heard a weight loss center commercial one time and the lady on it said, "I wasted too much time being fat!" - that is EXACTLY how I feel! Being fat is a waste of time. I have so much else I want to do in life, but being fat holds me back. It keeps me from feeling confident and secure and happy the way I want to feel. I'm tired of being fat. And I'm finally ready to do something about it!! Here is where my journey begins... I heard a weight loss center commercial one time and the lady on it said, "I wasted too much time being fat!" - that is EXACTLY how I feel! Being fat is a waste of time. I have so much else I want to do in life, but being fat holds me back. It keeps me from feeling confident and secure and happy the way I want to feel. It makes me self-conscious and keeps me from being comfortable around others. It distracts me from being able to serve and love others the way I want to. I am ready to kick this habit and start living my life the way I want to, instead of letting my weight control me! I'm trying to kickstart my change by reading The Body Fat Solution by Tom Venuto. I had low expectations, but so far it is actually really good (I think I'm in chapter 4 ot 5). The chapter on changing beliefs is RIGHT ON for me. THAT is what I am going to start working on FIRST!

My Goals:
* Be able to get down on the floor and play with my children without feeling achy and having to groan when I get up. * Be able to run and play and have fun with my little ones. * Be able to dance with my husband. * Be able to be intimate with my husband without being insecure and embarrassed. * Correct my posture (and therefore fewer back and neck problems)!! Right now I have some bad posture habits because of trying to hide my fat! * Be able to run a 5k
My Program:
1) Read Tom Venuto's book The Body Fat Solution 2) Start daily journaling my food on SP 3) Read Love to Eat, Hate to Eat 4) Start doing pilates... at least 3x/week.
