When I started out in September 2010 I was nearly 300lbs. I had enough and gave this my all. I lost forty pounds in 5 months and then got pregnant. This was something my husband and I both wanted. We already had one child at the time.
After my second child's birth I got back to where I was before I was pregnant within three months. Then I slacked off again and gained 20lbs. over the next six months.
In March of 2013 I had once again had enough of being fat so I started again. My husband decided to get healthy again too. This was a great choice for him too because diabetes and heart disease run on both sides of his family. By June 2013 I had lost the 20lbs I put on in the previous year and he lost 27lbs himself. Now I am setting mini goals to meet every three months, it seems to work the best for me.
So here is my next goal:

Today is July 15, 2013. I want to loose 22lbs by October 31, 2013, Halloween. :)
If I can do that I will be slightly over half way to my ultimate weight loss goal I set so long ago.
That's actually 15 weeks from now. I can handle a 1.45lb per week weight loss, very attainable if I stick with watching my food and exercising daily!

My Goals:
My goal is to eat less and exercise more. I want to be 40lbs lighter by August 2013 and reach my ultimate goal of a lose of 108lbs. by May 2014.

My Program:
Lots of cardio at the moment. I am also eating according to the nutritian guidelines offered by Sparks.

Personal Information:
I am originally from the Louisville, Ky area and moved to the Indianapolis, In area in the fall of 2008. I am married and have two sons. My starting pant size is a 22 and a 2x top. I am 5'9" and would love to be a size 10, M top at my goal weight. I haven't been that size since I was 13 years old!

I would love to go walk with you at the park in Plainfield. You could walk for HOURS there. They have a long trail and they have a path that is at least 3 miles long. It's huge. Anyway, I guess I went the WRONG WAY off of 135, I turned left going back towards the mall. I just assumed it was down there. Oops. Wrong assumption. lol Hopefully in a few weeks we can go walking! :) Let's keep in touch. PS-Your husband looks EXACTLY like one of my best friends husbands. It's so weird. He is from Hondurus and his name is Juan.

Hi there! I went driving all around Greenwood looking for parks. I never found Freedom park. I must have missed a turn or something. I never saw Averitt Rd off of Smithvalley Rd. So then we went to Universal Park and by the time we got there it was cold and the kids were being party poopers. They didn't even want to walk the trail with me. It was a waste of gas. lol Better luck next time I guess. Have you ever been to Hummel Park in Plainfield? It's huge and has tons of trails. I wanted to ask you to join two of my teams if you'd like. One is Team Indy and the other is Indianapolis Suburban. Both are Indy teams. We try to have meet ups once a month with Team Indy and I'm going to meet a lady tomorrow for lunch if you'd like to join us! It will be on the west side somewhere. I can let you know more when I find out if you are interested. Hopefully we can get some more meetings on the south side too! Let me know if you ever want to meet for lunch or to walk. Thanks for telling me about the park. What's some other cool ones? I have lived on the SW side for awhile now so I know most of the west side parks. lol And a few on the north side. I can't wait until it warms up! I'm starting a 5k running program on SP so I'll be walking/jogging 3x's a week, doing Zumba 2x's, hula on Saturday, and hopefully swimming once a week. That's a lot of cardio! lol I'll have to figure out where the weight training can fit in. :) Have a good day!!

Darn you'll be in TN:( Well maybe next year! I would love to go walking! What park are you talking about? I don't know about any good parks on the Southside. I heard the park in Carmel (Monon Center) is really cool. I haven't been there yet. I really like this park called Holiday Park on the Northwest side. I has lots of trails. It's cool.
