My Prayer: God I want to hear Your steps. You have walked not allowing me to see the direction with my own eyes that could take me on my own path. I want to hear the direction of Your movements, that I trust only Your voice Your thoughts, and Your Word. God I ask you of all of this and within my heart as you show me the way, direct my path, and clear the obstructions which may lie ahead of my path. In Jesus name I pray amen.

I did not write any of this which follows. I received it from a web site. The link is below:

God Promises Victory, but Christians Must Fight for Freedom to Live in Victory

"If God is for us then who can stand against us. " When fighting the Christian fight, God enables believers to win victory through every battle. The book of Joshua can be viewed as how to live victorious lives through the strength of God.

The Israelites, when taking possession of Canaan, struck fear into the hearts of their enemies even before the first city fell. They were familiar with what God had done for Israel and all knew that God was with them.

"and (Rahab) said to the men, 'I know that the Lord has given you this land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath.'" (Joshua 2:9-11)

Receiving Christ as Lord gives one the strength to strike fear into the heart of the inhabitants of the "land." God promises victory over the lusts of the flesh and the certain death that sin causes, but not without a fight.

A military campaign is won through strategy. As Joshua and his warriors tore through the land of Canaan, a pattern of military strategy emerges. The Israelites began with Jericho and moved through the highlands and mountainous regions of Canaan. Next, major Egyptian outposts and centers were targeted and destroyed. Efficiency comes through strategy.

In the lives Christians, forming a strategy to defeating enemies is crucial to daily victory. First, hit the areas of sin that are the easiest to destroy. Get off drugs, put off poisonous relationships and begin to serve in the church. Continuous wins occur when Christians begin to take out those enemy outposts. A consistent prayer life and Bible study are both habits that need to be formed and matured. An understanding of a personal role in God's covenant to believers will determine the outcome of any particular battle that comes their way.

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS:

I know that God has not only given me victory today but He has shown me how the battle will be won. I am only grateful that He would share with me His plans. I praise God and lift Him high above me. God, may your strength ever be present as I seek you through a battle which has already been won. As I know it has been given to me I hold my head high through the devils accusations and torment. I have your power within me as I stated after I fell on my knees. The day after I fell I told myself and others I have God's power inside of me. I will use His power to do all things.

1 Corinthians 1:5
" in Him in every respect you were enriched, in full power and readiness of speech and complete knowledge and illumination."

You know I just love the name of my team "Keep Walking With Jesus". It says it all! Walking with Jesus.

Jesus walked every where and so did His disciples. Jesus set the example for how we should live, eat and exercise.
He did not need all these fancy machines to stay healthy and in shape.

Jesus ate fresh fish, lamb, poultry, beef, fruits, nuts, veggies and honey. Nothing was refined or artificial. In Jesus' day they didn't fry foods, it was baked or cooked over an open flame.

Can you imagine eating like our Lord? Walking in His footsteps? Just think about it, treating our bodies like our Lord treated His. Wouldn't that be great!

Be Blessed and think about eating Healthy unrefined foods. emoticon

    "Happy Mother's Day" emoticon

Look at your current eating behaviors and set some goals for change. Be realistic, and focus on short-term goals that you can accomplish within a few weeks. For example, if you usually skip breakfast, make a goal to eat breakfast every day for the next week. A study of the National Weight Control Registry shows that people who have lost weight and kept it off tend to eat breakfast every day, and eating breakfast may be a factor in their success. Write it down, and tape notes that say "Don't forget breakfast!" to your bathroom mirror, inside your pantry door and on your refrigerator. When you set lofty goals that take years to accomplish, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and go back to bad eating habits. Set one to three mini goals at a time and keep working until you have mastered them.

Finally it's Summer! We've all been waiting for it. Some fun in the Sun....but, what are we to do if the cold is still hanging around?

It doesn't mean that we should jump off the wagon, stop exercising and start eating whatever we want. A healthy, calorie-moderated diet and regular physical activity are essential for physical and mental health. We can still practice self-acceptance while continuing to work toward our goals.

We can exercise in the house, use Spark People's exercise video's, dance our way to fitness and so much more. Just don't give up and let the blues slide in and up set your balance.

I have faith in you. emoticon Let's get creative!

Did you know working out comes in many forms, and not all of them will leave you breathless and drenched in sweat? “Exercise doesn’t have to be spending an hour at the gym. Just get moving,” even if it's just for 10 minutes a day. “Take a dance class, go for a hike, walk the dog, or vacuum your house. It all counts!” So, yes, those late-night solo dance parties where you pretend you’re Beyoncé or Rita Hayworth are well worth it. Just get your body moving. Before you know it, you will have started a work out routine!

    Today will never come again.
Let us all be a Blessing.
    Be a friend.
Most of all encourage someone along the way.
    Always take time to care.
And may the words we say be a healing and not a wound.
