I'm Grace I'm 27 years old and I have weight issues. Back in my high school days I was very active and eating what I wanted was no problem. Even after I graduated high school I did gain some weight but was good enough for my daily routines. Five years ago that all changed. I stopped being active and the weight kept on coming. So now with a busy schedule I'm trying my best to find ways to have a balanced diet and a work out schedule that will keep motivated! I just want to feel confident and be happy the way I used to be!

UPDATE! Well I know I've been registered here on sparkpeople since 2007 but I never really took it seriously. I started getting bigger and bigger and now this month March 2009 that all changed. My friend texted me saying I should go and check out Gold's Gym. She had gone to check out herself and really liked it and thought I would too. So I did and now I LOVE IT! It has a been a week since I started. I've been working out everyday single day even on the weekends. Let me tell you the weekends at the gym is even better people hardly go! I've been cutting back on my bad eating habits. I've slowly changed my eating habits to healthier ones. Believe me I still want to eat a juicy burger but its better to reward myself once out of the month for my hard work. Water is now my best friend. If I do decie to cheat I like drinking sprite but I tend not to finish the whole sprite. I love going to the gym its fun and there's always something to do. Yesterday I took a Body Jam class that is a mixer of dancing and working out! It was fun! I also have a personal trainer (Norma) she kicks my ass but is a great motivator! Unfortunately until the first week of may I have class on wednesday and thursday night so those are the only days I won't be going to the gym. But I have weights at home and will put them to good use. I say whether working out at a gym or at home do it! It does make a difference and at the end of the day it makes you feel better about yourself especially when you start feeling and seeing results. YES I CAN! : )

My Program:
Drinking water daily 8 glasses

Going to the Gym everyday for an hour and 30 minutes

Eating veggies fruits and lots of grilled chicken.

I love carrots and green beans!

    Im feeling much better now. I went to the doctor yesterday and got a shot of decadron. Always makes me feel better when I've got sinus issues.

    Anyhow, we're thinking about possibly an August wedding, so that we can have it down at SPI, but the hottest part of the summer will already be over. It's going to be a small wedding, probably only about 60 guests or so. Still, Im really excited. My sister and I were thinking about having a double wedding, but we've had family drama lately, so we haven't had much time to collaborate details.

    Anyway, heading off to work and class now. Have a great day! =D

    Thanks ^___^ Im really excited about the wedding. I'm doing alright today. A little under the weather because my students have all been sick. You'd think that by high school kids would learn to cover their mouths when they cough and sneeze!
