Our loan was approved. emoticon Now we just need to have the homeowners of this dream come true house accept our offer based on our love for what was supposed to be their forever home. Fingers crossed. Thank you for your good thoughts!

Thanks for stopping by my page to read my "Walk With Me" blog. I really don't miss Mendocino County at all, the terrain here is similar but the weather is much nicer. Before we left the drug and homeless problem was getting so bad that it was dangerous to even take a walk in our neighborhood. The Sheriff's Department was constantly issuing warnings about the danger of going into the woods because of the Mexican drug cartels that have taken over pot growing in the area. We have a friend who lives in Covelo, he told us it's even worse their because of the lack of law enforcement. I'm so glad we finally decided to move before it got bad enough that we wouldn't be able to sell our house. I did like it in San Jose though, mostly I liked my job I guess but I liked the area enough that, before I met Rod I had planned on buying a house and settling down there. It's a really big transition to go from such a small area to such a big city, I hope you're adjusting OK.
