One Day at a Time

Sparks is a fun way to gradually change my lifestyle. I enjoy setting my own goals, being a part of team challenges, and sharing support with others on a similar journey.

My current goals include:
- exercise at least 5-10 minutes every morning and every evening - establish a good habit of movement
- drink at least 8 glasses of water each day
- spend time with God every day for support and encouragement

Originally from Wisconsin, my home has been in Colorado now for 20 years and I love it!

My two beautiful children, who turned 21 and 16 this fall, are an inspiration to me every day, as is my new rescue puppy, Bambi!

Hi! I saw that you are (or maybe were) a member of the "Fit By Fifty" team that I just joined, and I also noticed the team is not active. I would love to revive it if we can, so I am reaching out to anyone who's been a member of it to see if there's interest there.

If not, I may still just check in there daily and treat it like it's active in hopes that others will join and get it going. Hope to see you there!

It does sound like fun to get a western slope geocache group going. Maybe there are others from the western slope sparkers that would like to go. I know there are some who like to hike with their kids and kids love geocaching! Are you in the GJ area? I live north of Dillon. Still on the western slope but a ways from GJ. My son and DIL live in GJ so we do make it over there for quick weekends occasionally. When you get on to www.geocaching.com type in your zip code for the area you are searching in. All the geocaches are rated by difficulty and terrain. Pick an easy one first - not a micro little one. You can read what others have written about it to decide how difficult it might be. Have fun with it!
