I want to lose enough weight to control my type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise only.
I want to lose a total of 130 pounds.
I want to increase my self esteem and self confidence.
I want to exercise at least 4 days a week.
I am working on cutting way back on carbs, eating lots of veggies and some fruits. I dont want to go hog wild on a strict very low carb diet....I dont do well with such strict rules!
My name is Julie and I have 2 great kids. I have had type 2 diabetes for a few years. I am a nursing student working towards my doctorate in the hopes that I will be a nurse practitioner one day. I need to lose this weight so that I am taken seriously by my future patients. I want to be a role model to them.
Thanks for your comment on my Letter to the Little Girl Inside Me blog. It's worked so far except for that one little blip with the Halloween candy. I'm reeeaaaallllly looking forward to Thanksgiving. Ü
