My Goals:
I want to lose enough weight to control my type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise only.

I want to lose a total of 130 pounds.

I want to increase my self esteem and self confidence.

I want to exercise at least 4 days a week.

My Program:
I am working on cutting way back on carbs, eating lots of veggies and some fruits. I dont want to go hog wild on a strict very low carb diet....I dont do well with such strict rules!

Personal Information:
My name is Julie and I have 2 great kids. I have had type 2 diabetes for a few years. I am a nursing student working towards my doctorate in the hopes that I will be a nurse practitioner one day. I need to lose this weight so that I am taken seriously by my future patients. I want to be a role model to them.

Thank you for your encouragement. Hopefully my weight has started going down again. Down this morning. I cut out all the extra salty stuff I was eating and that contributed to the plateau.
