Me!

Hi there, I'm 36, an Italian woman living in the UK, near London. I got married in my hometown Rome on the 14th of May 2011 in an US size 4 dress. This achievement has been possible for me only thanks to Weight Watchers and Sparkpeople. I have been fat all my life (198/200 lbs) and never had a boyfriend until I nearly reached my goal with Weight Watchers. If I got married last year, in a way, I owe it also to Weight Watchers and Spark. Losing weight is a life changing experience; be able to ...

I just wish I had found out about Spark and WW many, many years ago!

My Goals:
My goal now is to never go over 121 lbs again even after a big meal, and learn good nutritions guidelines so I won't put on weight anymore! I'm in maintenance, trying to tone up to lose the last stubborn layer of fat on my tummy!

My Program:
I'm following the Weight Watchers diet, but recently I'm using much more Spark and much less WW... I might cancel WW as Spark is free and more precise!

Personal Information:
I was born in Rome on the 10th of July 1975. I moved to England in 2004 and here I discovered Weight Watchers, lost a lot of weight and met my current fiancÚ 3 and a half years ago. We've got married in Rome on the 14th of May 2011 and I have walked down the aisle in a US size 4 dress! I would never have dreamt that 7 years ago! It just shows that if you find the right diet for you, you CAN do it!

Other Information:
I love reading and writing fantasy stories and children's stories. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and of Japanese anime and manga.

Hey there!

I love the wedding picture of you. (profile pic). You look SO lovely!!!

How are things going? It's been so busy on this end but in a good way. That's awesome about the nail tech home based course! How's it going so far?

Daily exercises for a half hour - way to go! I think it's good that you're doing modified push ups. In time, you'll be able to do the full ones. Practice and consistency are key, right?

Nice job on incorporating running up and down the stairs! That's really awesome! You should be sure to stretch your legs before AND after that exercise to minimize the soreness.

You mentioned that your arms are still less toned than you want then after working on them everyday. You should never work the same muscles two days in a row. As a matter of fact, new research suggests that you should wait up to 72 hours before targeting the same muscle groups.

I do want to create an iPhone/Blackberry app for the website. I'm actually working with the creators to do that. It's so necessary.

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend so far. All the best,
Bree

Thanks for adding me as a Spark Friend. I've done the same. I'm so sorry you lost one of your furry babies to cancer also. I also had a cocker spaniel many years ago who passed away from cancer. I still smile when I remember her (Misty) and all the fun we had with her.

This is such a wonderful community of people encouraging and supporting each other. Many of my Spark Friends have supported me through a number of rough times over the past couple years and it's meant so very much. I hope that I can be as helpful to others.

Looking forward to talking to you more in the future.
