Do More, Try Harder, Be Better

Update: Over 2 years Later, I am refocusing on all the reasons I started this adventure in my life



I joined this for many reasons. I want to be healthy. I want to quit being lazy. I am excited about this new phase in my life and I am tired of not doing anything about it. The time is now! I want to feel more empowered in my life. I quit smoking in October of 2010 and have been smoke free since- I figure if I could do that, loosing weight should be a non literal ...

I joined this for many reasons. I want to be healthy. I want to quit being lazy. I am excited about this new phase in my life and I am tired of not doing anything about it. The time is now! I want to feel more empowered in my life. I quit smoking in October of 2010 and have been smoke free since- I figure if I could do that, loosing weight should be a non literal piece of cake. That was way tougher than working out everyday!
I recently got in a non threatening car accident - I totaled my car, but for the most part was not seriously injured. After a month of my body being hurt from the accident (my lower back), and the doctors not really helping, I decided to take actions into my own hands. I have started doing the 30 day shred and at first- my back hurt a lot (no more than it did when it was originally hurt)- but now about a week after starting this exercise program my back pain has subsided majorly (also with the help of several massages).
Anyway I am excited about my journey and I hope that I am truly up for the challenge. We will see.

I've completed the 30Day Shred and now am working on doing the 30 day slim down. I am working on the 30day extreme slim down/my own thing and it is awesome

I was in a car accident years ago and haven't been the same since. Exercise will def. help! Good for you for quitting smoking.

Dr. Oz, IS a real MD. Which is why you must watch him wth "a grain of salt"....I watch to see what he will say next, but do NOT take what he says as "gospel"! I have learned SOME good things from him, but not alot!
