Time for a change...

I am 36 years old, married and the mother of four. Our children, 3 boys and 1 girl, range in age from 10 to 2 years of age. I am a full time mother and work part-time at our local library.
I began my struggle with my weight after the birth of our first child 10 years ago. I never really lost all of the weight gained during that pregnancy and have added additional weight with each pregnancy. I have had weight loss successes and failures in the past 10 years. I never really lost all of the weight gained during that pregnancy and have added additional weight with each pregnancy. I have had weight loss successes and failures in the past 10 years. My failures stem mainly from a lack of portion control and eating not when I am hungry, but rather when I am bored or, even more so, when I am stressed-and with 4 children, the latter happens often. I don't want to pass these habits on to my children. I hope to set our whole family on a healthier course.

My Goals:
Finally lose the baby weight that I have gained since our first child born in 1997!
To learn better eating habits that I will be able to pass along to our children, including eating a healthier diet with more fruits and veggies and less prepackaged, high fat, high calorie foods.

Hey Gipperino,

How are you doing? I just checked your turtle--he's moving down the road! Yay! How are you doing? I totally skipped recording Saturday and Sunday--I'm bad. But, I started back up again today. So far doing ok for the day, but now I'm into the crucial 2 hours before bed when the hunger monster strikes! Or, actually, the you-want-to-eat-but-you're-not-hungry monster. It's sad when food becomes a friend. Well, I just wanted to say hi. You can delete these messages off of your page whenever you want. See you soon.
