Hello, my name is Ginna, l have been on spark people since June of 2012. Set up my profile in 2010 but never came back because I did Weight Watchers instead. I lost 67 pounds total, was in maintenance for 5 years then I lost my parents in 2013 and that sent me into an emotional eating stupor. Have put on about 20 lbs in the last year and am starting over to lose that. I am resetting my goals and hope to get the extra weight off by June 2015.

Hi Ginna,
I can only say as I have found. Both my Fitbit and Garmin do not log every step.

When you look at it a mile is around 2000 steps which if it was 1900 or 2100 on the Pedometer is with in a good limit. After all no walk it the same with different stride lengths on each walk.

If I had not used my Target for nearly three years taking the time to get a good average I would not have noticed it.

I also use the Garmin XT910 which is why I bought the Vivofit.

Have a good weekend

Trev

Thanks for updating me on your shoulder issue. I talked with a sister (Sunday) who had been in a car accident. She is struggling with a lot of pain...and has found that a good theraputic massage has been much more helpful..and cost much less..than the physical therapy that is recommended. She has to pay out of pocket for the massage, but says it is so worth it...she also cares for her elderly mother and must work (cleaning houses). What challenges! Hope you get some good news. All the parts of our bodies are interconnected so of course, one thing not working right can really affect everything else! Much love to you. emoticon

Thanks for the SparkGoodie. I wanted to send one in return, but could not select anything that seemed appropriate. I sure hope you get relief as your sister did. Thinking of you. emoticon

Thanks for the comments re: shoulder. This is just annoying and it seems to be moving down to shoulder blade area. I am pretty sure it is something in my neck. I will be sure to pay attention so it doesn't go on too long without care.

So sorry you are having such a struggle. Was the massage just reg. massage or theraputic massage?...I gather there is a difference. My uncle has serious shoulder issues and last year, my daughter worked on his shoulder while we were at the beach. He said it really helped and he is still talking about that. Hope things get better.

A Nail-Biter is right!!!!! The Offensive line really needs to work on giving Rogers more protection and the Defense needs to work on preventing pass completions. YIKES!!!!!
