Starting the journey over.

I got married in September 2010. Before the wedding I lost 35 pounds and felt great. I did things I never thought I could, including running a 5k! After the wedding the whirlwind of life took over and I gained 60 back. The 5k that I ran last year, I could barely walk this year. Not only am I heavier than I have ever been I have also lost interest in the things that used to really motivate me (nutrition, exercise, spending time outside.)

My husband has two boys from a previous marriage, so I am already a mom, but we are trying to have one of our own now. Obesity has been linked to fertility issues, and I don't want anything that I can control to stand in my way of having the family I deserve. I am taking back my life starting today.

Lose 60 New swimsuit

My Goals:

1. Make one new SP recipe per week.

2. Complete Couch to 5k training (again)

3. Complete a 5k in under 30 minutes.

4. Lose 1-2 pounds per week and 5-8 pounds per month.

My Program:
The nutrition tracker has really helped me find a balance to my diet. I have dieted before and logged my calories on a spreadsheet, which helped, however I now realize that I was not taking into account the amount of protien, carbs and fat and other nutrients that are required as part of a healthy diet.

Personal Information:
I am 29 years old and I live in Kansas City, Missouri. I am married to a wonderful man and have two step-sons (ages 9 and 13.)
