I'm a single homeschooling mom trying to get in shape, lose some weight, overcome ADD, forge fulfilling relationships, and change my life! It's time for serious action!
My goals are to start running 5Ks, stay active, eat healthy, look healthy, and feel successful!
I PRETTY MUCH just try to follow SparkPeople's calorie goals and balance of protein/ fat/ carbs, except when I get stuck reducing the carbs in conjunction with more exercise seems to get me through. And truly making sure to get PLENTY of fruits and vegetables is KEY to my success.
Originally from Southern California, I absolutely love it here in West Tennessee! I have four beautiful children aged 12 to 3. I'm now motivated and on a path of achieving a fulfilling, fun, successful life!
I ran my first 5K last summer (2014), which is a huge milestone and really motivated me. I love the Bible, sci-fi, all genres of books, doing fun activities, getting out, shooting some pool sometimes even though I'm not good at it, hanging out with my family and friends, and learning new things.
