I now reside in Kentucky and work for the City of Lexington. One great job perk we have is that I can join the YMCA for a reduced membership fee. I've signed up my whole family and have begun working out again. I really need to get fit and lose some weight since this year has been rough and I've been comfort eating. I recently went to the doctor and stepped on the scale. I really don't like my numbers and am committed to working hard to reducing them. I'm doing a combination of cardio and yoga to get fit again on alternate days. I am planning on adding strength training when I can get my endurance levels up. I would also like to get out and about on my bike before the weather turns. It's so nice having a wellness program and a job that promotes getting and staying well. I also have a lot of support from my hubby.

My Goals:
Lose the 15 pounds I've gained since this time last year. To become stronger and more flexible. To prevent back pain.

My Program:
Stick to a diet of 1200-1550 calories per day. To do cardio two days per week in the gym. To take an hour long yoga class once per week. To walk the dog around my neighborhood on my "off" days. To start hiking or exploring my new city more often.

Personal Information:
I'm a boring person these days! I don't drink, smoke or eat pork or beef. My main vice is caffeine. I love my coffee and tea! I also love to de-stress with yoga, meditation and Reiki.
