Today, I am deleting the negative reminders of why I am doing this. In the past few months, I have realized that I am at my happiest when I celebrate milestones and think about the future.

This past weekend I went to King's Island. It has been almost exactly two years to the day from when I went to ride a roller coaster and could not fit in the seat. This year, I fit. I hit a milestone.

Also, yesterday I saw the Director of Nursing from my previous internship last Spring 2011. He said I looked different and then asked me how much weight I lost.

I am officially "The Slowest Loser" but still losing, and that's all that matters!

My Goals:
Consistently lose weight over the next year. Learn how to have a healthy work/life balance and take care of myself in the way I need to.

Ask for help and support when I need it- from friends, family, and fellow sparkers.

My Program:
Remain in Sparkpeople calorie range each day. Eat what I want but with moderation. ALWAYS have a fresh vegetable and fruits in the refrigerator ready.

Work outs:
Alternate between hip hops abs, zumba, lifting, p90x, cycling, etc. so not to be bored

Thanks Gina for adding me and the compliment! I have been with this running thing for just over a year. My biggest piece of advice to you is to listen to your body. I read blogs, articles, everything I could about running on Spark and even CoolRunning.com, but none of us are exactly alike and that makes it a special journey for each of us.
