Hang in there.... unfortunately the critics will always be there. I think your idea of referring them to a website is a good one. Just let them know that the program is "not well known" but you have heard of others who have had great results. It is a lifestyle change, but one you are willing to make. You are excited with your noticeable progress and are anxious to see how it all works out in the end.
That may give them enough info to let them know that you are excited, you know it is a big change, and you "hope" it will prove to have lasting results. Maybe that will keep the harshest of critics at bay.
I know months ago when the majority of people at work were asking me what I was doing (I work in medicine so I had huge skeptics) they all gave me the side eye..... many heavy gals asked for the protocol and I emailed it to them. Many claimed they would feel better if they talked to their doctors first, and some did. None have started the protocol but no one has come back to comment on my lasting success either....... lol. I counted calories for the first few days of my first P3 only. Because I was stabilizing fine, I stopped counting because I don't want to have to do that the rest of my life. I found in that short time that I was eating about 1800-2000 calories a day. You can go on=line and find a BMR calculator to get how many calories you should be consuming just to maintain your body functions each day. After that, you have to add in more for how active you are.
In your first few weeks of P3 you can have salad dressing but be really careful of the added sugar, since you should be staying away from that. I found a brand "cindy's Kitchen" that has a Rosemary and Roasted Garlic that is sugar free. I admit it is not as tasty as I remember salad dressings to be, but it is better than P2 options..... lol 2352 days ago
