Once I realized how many calories I was consuming from alcohol alone, it was kind of apparent to me that I needed to make a change there. The potassium -- I dunno -- asked on one of my team forums and someone suggested that all items being tracked may not have values entered for potassium and magnesium. If it was really as low as it appears in my feedback I think I'd probably be dead!
Hope you have a great weekend! (so far I'm spending my Saturday canning tomato juice and freezing roasted tomato sauce, and still have about 30 pounds of tomatoes on the kitchen table!)
Hey, just wanted to share with you that I also went to MSU, and had planned to go to vet school but then got stupid and got married and -- well, it was one of those things where life gets in the way of the best-laid plans! I hope YOUR dream will come true for you -- although, life is what we make it and, as they say, when one door closes, another opens.
I'm glad you have set a small for yourself to get started. I set 8 pounds as my first goal. I figured I could handle that. Now I'm going for a total of 40, 32 more. SP says that will take me over a year.
I am learning a lot about nutrition on the site, and I already feel so much better.
I figure out a lot of solutions to problems when I walk in the mornings, things like how to get in the needed exercise, or how to increase my fiber intake, or how to get my butt up and moving, or how to plan menus and get the food in so I'm not sitting at the computer during every free minute. 1619 days ago
