Cheryl's search for a healthier body

I'm a married CPA who's been heavy all of my adult life. I haven't been able to have children because of PCOS and the weight that I have put on my body over the last 22 years. On my 39th birthday, I decided I wanted to become an active woman who doesn't eat for any other reason that for nutrition.

I'm a married CPA who's been heavy all of my adult life. I haven't been able to have children because of PCOS and the weight that I have put on my body over the last 22 years. On my 39th birthday, I decided I wanted to become an active woman who doesn't eat for any other reason that for nutrition.

In August 2007 I was diagnosed with Celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder which attacks the small intestine. The current treatment is to refrain from eating wheat, barley, rye and most oat products. It causes infertility in most women. So imagine my surprise when I found out I was pregnant that December! Little Clara was born in August '08 and now I'm a mom!

During my pregnancy, I was quite nauseated and so I lost a lot of weight. It was a head start but I'm still making excuses not to exercise and I've gained most of it back. :(

Welcome to the 300+team. 300 is such a BIG number but if we persevere, focus and motivate one another we can reach our goals!
We have so much of life ahead of us and it is so much better to work on ourselves and reach for our goals.
We can do it-- we are worth the effort!
All we can do is take it one bite, one day, one pound at a time.
I am looking forward to supporting you in your quest for better health and a happier future.
