Giffer goes on a diet.

My Goals:
My goal was a 109 but then I came down to reality and realized that 118 is what I should be aiming for. I have lost 27.5 so I am SPARKED! As far as weight watchers is concerned, I am already there. Yahoo!
My Program:
I go to weight watchers every week and stay for the meeting. That is the most important part-not just the weigh-in. I also gave up all soda to include diet. 45 to 60 minutes of walking at least 4 days a week and also making better choices when it comes to eating. I have an apple or yogurt when everyone else is having cake. And it doesn't even bother me any more. I do eat out once in a while but I don't cheat for the whole day just that one meal. If I have an urge to eat everything in the house I run to the store and go to the frozen section and pick up a turkey that weighs 24 pounds and remind myself that I have lost that much weight and then I am fine.

I play poker with the girls twice a month.
Other Information:
I love baseball. Not just any baseball though. It has to involve the St. Louis Cardinals which really ticks my husband off. He thinks that after 20 years here I need to switch to the Marlins. I love my team to much to do that.
I try to read read every day. Nora Roberts is my fave although Danielle Steel is great too. Have a 6" telescope and do enjoy star gazing when I have the time. There is so much more to life than just videos. Look around you and learn to love this beautiful planet that we live on. Get a nice pair of binoculars and go surf the sky, check out those amazing constellations, or better yet, call a friend and let them know how special they are.
