My Goals:
My goal is to lose 35 lbs...I'd like to lose more but feel if I put huge number up I may not attain it..So I'm making my goals in increments. Once I lose the initial 35 lbs, I will make an additional goal of losing 20 more lbs.

My Program:
Well, I started with the Spark videos, a 28 day challenge, and I am going to mix things up with P90X and 30 day Shred. I'm paying closer attention to what I put in my body.
I have cut out all soda, diet too. If I feel like a soda I will have a fruit flavored sparkling water. I don't plan on completely depriving myself, but I don't really crave sweet foods, so that helps. I do however LOVE Ribeye steaks, and BBQ, and I'm going to have to cut way back on that. I'm going to try to have a lot of salad. Chicken, tuna, lean sirloin (every so often). Other than that, just adding the exercise has already helped me shed 6 pounds just in the last week! In the past, I wanted to lose weight just so I could have a tummy tuck. But now, I'm hoping that just losing the weight and toning up will ease the desire for that kind of thing. I just want to feel better about myself :)

Good luck to you Billie Jo! I definitely know how it is to not stick to something for one reason or another but I am completely determined this time around. Wish you luck and I am here for moral support if you ever need to talk.

Hey Billie Joe. Thanks for stopping by my page. I HATE Yoga and when I saw that it was longer than 90 minutes on P90X, I wanted to die...and then they want you to do it twice a week....what the....lol

Yes, we can do it! I can't wait to see in 30 days, then 60 then 90.

Best wishes.
Amy

Hi Billie Joe, Thanks for the comment on my SparkPage! Yep, I love that Marines quote, too - it works as an answer to a lot of things, doesn't it? You can totally kick this last 50lbs, absolutely. I don't have any workouts that I couldn't live without - rather, I think it's important to keep learning, keep reading, and keep trying new workouts. Metabolic resistance training, circuit training, interval training, and high intensity interval training are some of the things I've picked up in my journey and they are the things that produced the best results exercise-wise. Nutrition - that has to come first. Fix your food before you look at your workout. If it fits with your personality and life style, dumping as many processed and packaged foods as possible was a great decision for me. Some folks can't do that because of being always in a rush, etc. Get protein and fiber every single time you eat. If I can help, please send me a shout! Push hard, train smart, and no excuses!!
