Maintain a Healthy and Happy Weight
Growing up I watched my mother obsess over weight and often went up or down 50+ pounds a year. I have found that I inherited this obsession with the number on the scale but have tried to let go of the number and find a happy place with my body and my weight. I have found that I inherited this obsession with the number on the scale but have tried to let go of the number and find a happy place with my body and my weight. I do this by eating healthy and exercising and accepting that I will never be model thin. Being healthy and taking care of my body is the goal. I am not looking to lose more than 5 lbs at this point. My main goal is to maintain the weight I have already lost. I lost 15 lbs last last year and have kept it off which feels good. I look to exercise challenges to keep me motivated and am always searching for new ideas to make nutritious meals that taste good. I find that it is easy to fall into bad eating habits when you get bored with what you eat. I look forward to getting new fitness and nutrition ideas from the sparkpeople community!
