I live in Iowa; working long hours and not much exercise other than walking to work added on extra weight. I picked knitting back up a number of years ago and finish a pair of socks a month, among other things. Was off SparkPeople for a long, long time. But have found a new way to go and have lost 39.5 pounds over the past 3 months. In April 2012 I reached my first goal of losing 60 pounds and have been at maintenance ever since. I picked knitting back up a number of years ago and finish a pair of socks a month, among other things. Was off SparkPeople for a long, long time. But have found a new way to go and have lost 39.5 pounds over the past 3 months. In April 2012 I reached my first goal of losing 60 pounds and have been at maintenance ever since. But I am going to get back in the swing of things to lose another 10-20. According to BMI and current weight charts (which are totally inaccurate and illogical) I am still counted as obese at 161.

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to limber up and gain more stamina. The fact that pounds drop off is an added benefit.
My Program:
I have added more walking; taking the stairs going up. It is bumpy going with being consistent with weights.
