My Goals:
Over all goals are to reduce 10-15 lbs while building muscle , strength and flexbility-and most important turn back Father Time.

Current fitness goal is to train over next 12 weeks to complete a 1/2 marathon in October 09.

My Program:
Currently I am working out 6 days a week
T-W-TH-Sat-Sun running or crosstraining as per my marathon schedule
M -muscles & streaching
Friday -Rest and carb load( love Fridays)

Personal Information:
Professionally I am a dietitain and teacher. I have the privlege to work in adult weight management with the most awesome people and teach at the college level where I enjoy sharing the importance of good nutrition.

Other Information:
My intrests and hobbies include reading , gardening, dancing , training for marathons and spending quality time with familiy and friends.

Hi Annette,

I am down 165 lbs since April 21 2009 (my surgery date) I created a wonderful website www.owlssg.com and started a in person support group here in London Ontario Canada along with some other activities....please check out the website and if you are interested I would like to add a page on there for you if you would be willing to have people email you with questions...I just thought it would be nice for people to have access to a dietician that works with Bariatric patients....check it out and tell me what you think.

Hi Annette,
My name is Donna Mole I spoke with you on wed after my 1st post-op appt with Dr. Carlin. I just wanted to say thanks for the invite maybe now I can figure this site out. I started a group on Facebook the group is called Henry Ford Hospital-Gastric Bypass and everyone is welcome to join this group to share photos,stories and support for everyone that has had or is going to have the surgery or for anyone considering it. Hope to get as many as I can.

Hi Annette,

Claudia again. I have a medical question that you may be able to answer. Does exercising raise blood sugar? Last night after my workout at the gym I was a little dizzy during my workout. I checked my blood sugar after and it was 211!!!!! yikes. In the afternoon it was 96. I don't get it? Do you have any answers? Thanks. oh, by the way down 26 lbs :) from March 4 hooray for me I'm trying. emoticon

hi I am Luisa from London ontario and i had my sergery on 26 of March and i have lost 12 pounds since sergery but now i am stock on it and i don,t know what to do now , and i am also having problems holding food down i throw up all the time and it hurts alot ,anybody could help me please
