Hi everybody!!! This picture was taken on Feb. 13, 2009. I would like to take a similar picture again by June 18th with the goal to lose 20 pounds by then. I now weigh 217 pounds.

195 pounds (7/30/09)..I'm happy!! :)

Determined to get down to 180 by the end of August, 2009.. :)

Hi everyone!! I joined SP in November of 2008. I was overwhelmed at all of the material on the site; so quickly I distanced myself from it. BUT.........I returned a few weeks ago and approached SP with a whole new attitude. I've learned so much already. At first, it was fun getting points..but quickly there after I really started to enjoy and internalize everything that I was reading. I've lost a little weight and am determined to lose alot more. SP have a very informative and caring staff. The friends that I have met through SP are very supportive and with some of them; I feel as though I have known them much longer than what I really do.

My children are ages 26,26, 31, 33, and 37. After each child it seemed as though I gained alot of weight, lost it..and then regained it again when there was another pregnancy. Somewhere along the way after my youngest was born..I lost it; but then when I would get stressed out I would just start eating. It just felt good eating and eating!!!! I loved icecream...up to a month ago or so I could eat a pint everyday. There were days that I could eat almost 1/2 gallon on my own. I was totally out of control.

Now, I am in control of my craving for icecream. When I want to eat it now, I have Weight Watchers-the small cups and am satisfied because I learned to accept that I can have it and enjoy it. I'm trying to get my weight back down to 135; or at least 150. I know that there is a long road ahead of me; but I am prepared to take those curves in the road when I reach them and I know that if you're still reading this; then you can to!!!

My Goals:
I have many different goals but at the present time I would like to:

Focus on improving my eating habits

Lose 20 pounds by June 20, 2009

Continue tracking my success with SP tools; and through the use of these tools make positive changes as necessary

Constantly remind myself that I am human and will have good days as well as bad; BUT at the same time also tell myself that "I am in control of putting anything that I want back into perspective."

My Program:
To meet my goals I am:

Using the SP Nutrition tracker to follow what I am having too much of, or need more of..The pie graphs are excellent. I never looked at the way I was eating like this before.

I have already lost 9 of the 20 pounds that I wanted to lose by June 20th.

I stay motivated by reading SP articles, blogs, and my SparkFriends, and certain family members have been very supportive!!!

I continue to tell myself that I am capable of accomplishing my goals!!!

music. I like getting involved in community event planning. I enjoy listening to Joyce Meyer..TD Jakes..and Joel Olsteen.
